What we do
Baudrate develops integration drivers and software modules for the Tridium Niagara framework. We help systems integrators, building automation engineers, and facility operators connect controllers, smart devices, meters, and EV chargers into modern Niagara-based systems – often without replacing the legacy equipment.

Beyond the Niagara platform, we also ship drivers for Ignition SCADA and Node-RED for projects that extend outside the Niagara framework.
Alongside our product catalogue, Baudrate takes on bespoke Niagara development – custom drivers, configuration tools, API integrations, and cloud connectivity. When a customer needs a protocol, workflow, or integration we do not already ship, we can build it.
Our story
Baudrate was founded in 2015 by building automation professionals who were frustrated by how difficult it was to integrate legacy controllers into modern BMS platforms.
Our customers now include some of the world’s largest building automation companies – ABB, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Carrier, Bosch, and Mitsubishi Electric. Our drivers are in service at landmark sites including the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and London’s Natural History Museum.
Some of our longest-standing integrator partnerships – across Europe, the Middle East, and North America – have been with us since our first year of business, revisiting Baudrate across multiple driver families project after project.
Our drivers are in service across hospitals, data centres, university campuses, airports, pharmaceutical facilities, and retail estates – wherever Niagara needs to integrate with legacy or vendor-specific equipment.
Tridium has hosted Baudrate on multiple TridiumTalk sessions, where we presented our drivers, widgets, and AI assistant to Niagara integrators worldwide.
